Bethesda Softworks has released the first teaser trailer for Fallout: New Vegas and have said that the game will release on Xbox 360 and PS3 this autumn.

As for the teaser, there’s no gameplay on offer but what it does show is pretty intriguing. The teaser starts with a WALL-E type robot going about its business in the barren wasteland at night, fumbling through the sand with its metal pinchers when the camera pulls back to reveal a fully powered Las Vegas on the horizon. A further camera pull back shows a sinister figure with red eyes staring at Vegas as a narrator utters “War never changes”.

It’s worth checking out; it’s only two minutes of your life…

So, as for the new details promised in the headline, I kind of misled you, all I’ve got is an excerpt from the official press release, written in the style of a Vault-Tec Promo…
