Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief star Logan Lerman is reportedly in talks to play Spider-Man in Sony Columbia’s reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Lerman said…
“There have been a few discussions; it’s definitely something I’m looking into. It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course. I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.”
I wouldn’t mind Lerman being the new Peter Parker, better him than Zac Efron…

It’s so pointless that Sony are rebooting the Spider-Man franchise in 2012 just like it was when Universal rebooted the Hulk franchise in 2008 and when Warner Bros. rebooted the Batman franchise in 2005.
I don’t think the reboots are pointless. For Batman and the Hulk they were clearly necessary. Batman mainly because of the advance in technology and the need to make it darker. For Hulk the first movie was alright, but not the best. THe reboot was done mostly for the whole Avengers Initiative coming in 2012. As for Spiderman, even though I never liked Tobey as Spiderman I feel like a reboot is not necessary…if anything they should just re-do the 3rd movie.
