When Halo: Reach is released later this year, one thing you can probably assume wil happen is that every movie and video game site will be talking about the long-proposed Halo movie and how “close” it is to actually being made.

Well, it looks like Microsoft’s Frank O’Connor has got the ball rolling a little earlier than expected.

Talking to IGN.com, O’Connor talked about the status of the Halo movie…

“Are we ready to go? And the answer is very much so, yes. But we can afford to bide our time and wait for the exact perfect time and the exact perfect partner.”

So, the movie’s ready and all they’re waiting for is the perfect partner, I wonder if Peter Jackson is being considered again?
