Daredevil Reboot Gets Screenwriter

The Day the Earth Stood Still writer David Scarpa has signed on to write the Daredevil reboot.
Yep, instead of a sequel to the 2003 Daredevil starring Ben Affleck, Fox are pretending that that movie never happened and are giving us a fresh new take.
You might be wondering why Fox are bothering at all after the poor performance Daredevil had at the Box Office and from the pens of critics but it seems that Fox only hold the rights to Daredevil as long as they continue to make Daredevil movies. If they do not make Daredevil movies within certain time-frames then the rights go back to Disney/Marvel.
And Fox do not want that to happen.
It’s a shame that Daredevil will stay over at Fox because that instantly eliminates him from all the Marvel team-up movies that Disney/Marvel have planned.
