Pierce Brosnan gave an update on the proposed sequel to his 1999 movie The Thomas Crown Affair.
A couple of years ago it was suggested that Paul Verhoeven would direct and Angelina Jolie would star alongside Brosnan.
Since then, word on the project has got very quite…
Until now…
“We’ve got the fourth script in and this is the closest we’ve gotten in structure to making sense. It’s very very hard. Now we have the character, it’s not really fleshed out, so we have to work on him, Mr. Crown, and her, Miss Moore, another affair, more art, but it has to be an unexpected surprise.”
So, someone is working on it then.
I wonder if Angelina Jolie is still onboard.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a sequel; I have fond memories of the first movie.
