Universal has confirmed that Jon Favreau’s upcoming comic book adaptation Cowboys & Aliens which stars Daniel Craig will hit cinemas on July 29th, 2011.

The movie goes into production this June which is just weeks after Favreau wraps on Iron Man 2.

I’m confident that this movie will be an instant cult classic, with Jon Favreau’s skilled direction, the recent casting of James Bond’s Daniel Craig and of course the source material, how can it not be?
