That 24 Movie They’ve Talked About For Years Could Be Coming Soon

It seems that while Fox have yet to green-light a ninth season of their hit show 24, they are keen on making a movie.
At this moment in time, State of Play writer Billy Ray is in talks to pen the script which is thought to take place in Europe.
The current eighth season of 24 has been, in my opinion, quite poor and has only served to remind me how formulaic the show has become.
The movie deal hinges on whether or not 24 gets a ninth season, if it doesn’t then I would expect the movie to go straight into development but if it does get picked up again then I believe that Fox will hold back on the movie until at least this time next year when all the talk about a silver screen adaptation will pick up again.
