Tim Robbins will play Senator Hammond in Martin Campbell’s upcoming Green Lantern movie.

The veteran actor will play the disapproving father of Peter Sarsgaard’s Dr. Hector Hammond (The movie’s villain).

As you should know by now, Ryan Reynolds is playing the Green Lantern while Blake Lively is onboard as his love interest; Carol Ferris.

Green Lantern is scheduled to hit cinemas on June 17th, 2011.
