Ecosse Films, the company who brought us The Water Horse, Brideshead Revisited and Black Death amongst others; are apparently adapting Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Treasure Island.

Hopefully we’ll have some more news on this pretty soon as as of right now details are pretty scarce.

Personally I would love to see a new Treasure Island movie, I loved the book and even have fond memories of that Muppet movie they did a while back.
