Ah, there is a God. Naughty Dog’s PS3-exclusive Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold an impressive 3.5 million copies worldwide, which makes it the fastest-selling first party title on the PS3.

Naughty Dog’s VP of Product Development Scott Rhode excitedly revealed the milestone on the Playstation Blog…

“Last evening in Las Vegas, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves took the Interactive Achievement Awards by storm, grabbing ten awards, the most for any one title. Uncharted 2 has also garnered more than 150 other industry awards, has over 1.5m online users worldwide, and has surpassed 3.5m copies sold worldwide – the fastest selling first-party title for PlayStation. Not to mention, it’s established a new standard for games developed on the PS3 platform.”

Personally I am very pleased that Uncharted 2 sold as impressively as it has. I can’t wait for the third one.
