Sam Worthington Confirms Dan Dare Involvement
Clash of the Titans star Sam Worthington has confirmed rumors that he will appear in the recently announced Dan Dare movie. Speaking to MTV, the Avatar star revealed his involvement… “I’m at that stage now where I want to do movies where I get my $16 (£10.60) worth… Something like Dan Dare, there was something in the reboot by [Garth] that was amazing,” Although Worthington wouldn’t confirm it, it is thought that he will play Dan Dare. Get The Painkillers Ready – The Hangover 2 Is Ready To Roll
After six months of heavy negotiations; Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have finally agreed terms with Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis to star in The Hangover 2, the sequel to last year’s breakout comedy hit. According to Deadline’s article, the actors will each get around $5 million each while director Todd Phillips is expected to pick up a $10 million paycheck. (These figures are just the minimums.) Last year’s The Hangover is the highest rated R-rated comedy of all time so you don’t have to look too deep into the reasons the sequel has taken so long to get green-lighted. Stephen Dorff has signed on to star in Relativity Media’s Clash of the Titans rip-off called War of the Gods. War of the Gods sees Dorff play Stavros, a master-thief who has to save ancient Greece from the Titans. Honestly, I’m all for the reboots and remakes but when Hollywood churns out these Mockbusters it makes my stomach turn. War of the Gods also stars Kellan Lutz, Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto and Luke Evans who interestingly enough plays Apollo in Clash of the Titans. Strangely he’ll be playing Zeus in WOTG.
