Xbox 360 owners get an early Christmas present this week when a demo for Splinter Cell: Conviction sneaks onto Xbox Live.

The demo, which is released on the 18th of this month, sees you play through a brutal interrogation scene and then skip to a later level where you can sample the new and improved gameplay without spoiling any plot twists.
