Fringe Goes Musical

fringe-tv-show-castFox will reportedly air a musical episode of Fringe this season. How bad does that sound – these musical spin off episodes are pretty tragic let’s face it.

According to SciFi Wire, the upcoming installment is part of a load of the epitome of evil sow , ‘Glee’-themed musical programming for the month of May.

The episode, titled ‘Overture’, will feature the cast of the sci-fi show singing and dancing. The scenes will apparently represent a hallucination by Dr Walter Bishop (John Noble).

“When I first read that, I thought, ‘How are they going to pull this off? This is really weird’,” said cast member Jasika Nicole.

She continued:

“And it makes complete sense within the story.”

Fringe returns to Fox with new episodes on April 1.

Glad Fringe is doing so well. Could be some classic stuff, like some of the creative musical Xena episodes. Save Dollhouse.
