2K Games has confirmed that their upcoming Mafia 2 will be released, in the UK at least, on August 27th for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Mafia 2 is a direct sequel to 2002’s Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven and will be set between the 1945 and 1955 in the fictional Empire Bay.
