So, Those LittleBigPlanet 2 Are False Then?

It seems that the recent rumors concerning the development of LittleBigPlanet 2 are false. Sony Computer Entertainment has dismissed reports that LBP2 is in development by stating… “As demonstrated recently at GDC, LittleBigPlanet has been shown as an example of how an existing game could benefit from PlayStation Move Motion Controller support. This is not a confirmation of LittleBigPlanet 2, and we do not have any announcements to make about the LittleBigPlanet franchise.” Tweet This Post

Mafia 2 Given August Release Date

2K Games has confirmed that their upcoming Mafia 2 will be released, in the UK at least, on August 27th for Xbox 360 and PS3. Mafia 2 is a direct sequel to 2002’s Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven and will be set between the 1945 and 1955 in the fictional Empire Bay. Prison Break Star Joins Stargate Universe Cast

Bad guy actor Robert Knepper has apparently joined the cast of Stargate Universe. Now, he was immense as T-Bag in Prison Break, but all this market saturation is now getting to me. The 50-year-old actor, who has also previously starred in Heroes, reportedly signed for a multi-episode guest stint on the show’s upcoming second season. According to various internet sources, Knepper will play Simeon, a dangerous Lucian Alliance solider who clashes with Robert Carlyle’s Dr Rush. Simeon is said to be “strong and intimidating” and “scary in that you’re never sure what he will do”. He also holds secrets that “he would die to protect”. Hmm, not convinced. Tweet This Post
