Fox will reportedly air a musical episode of Fringe this season. How bad does that sound – these musical spin off episodes are pretty tragic let’s face it. According to SciFi Wire, the upcoming installment is part of a load of the epitome of evil sow , ‘Glee’-themed musical programming for the month of May. The episode, titled ‘Overture’, will feature the cast of the sci-fi show singing and dancing. Reboot Alert! Buck Rogers Is Coming!
According to Deadline, New York, Event Horizon director Paul WS Anderson will oversee the project while Iron Man writers Art Macum and Matt Holloway will pick up writing duties. Of course, as this is 2010 and it’s now law to make every sci-fi movie in 3-D, I’m pleased to announce that Buck Rogers the movie, if it does finally make its way to the silver screen, will in fact be 3-D. Village People Star Gets All Macho On The Cleveland Show Producers
Former Village People star Victor Willis is apparently planning to sue the producers of The Cleveland Show. Willis, who appeared as a cop in the group’s original lineup, is considering taking legal action over false suggestions that he provided a voiceover in what he deemed an “offensive” episode of the animated comedy, which made fun of the ‘In The Navy’ band. His spokeswoman Linda Smith told WENN: “Victor was offended by the episode and says he would never have agreed to do a voiceover for such an offensive portrayal of the Village People police character originally created by him.” The episode, titled ‘Buried Pleasure’, was broadcast on February 14, and featured an animated version of…
Angela Bassett Joins Up With The Green Lantern
According to Variety, Angela Bassett has jumped onboard the Green Lantern movie to play Dr. Amanda Waller. For those of you who watch TV’s Smallville, you will know Dr. Waller from the show where Pam Grier plays her. So far the cast for The Green Lantern includes Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins, Mark Strong, Blake Lively and of course Ryan Reynolds as the Lantern.
