Only the other day the Internet was sure that Percy Jackson and the Olympians star Logan Lerman would be the next Spider-Man in Marc Webb’s upcoming reboot but now it seems that there is another “shoe-in” for the role…

For those of you who don’t recognise him he was in the recent Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant and is 17 years old. And that’s a real 17 years old folks, not the Hollywood version of 17 years old where the actor playing the teenager is normally in his mid-thirties.

So, there you have it; that’s the latest casting rumour for the Spider-Man reboot, who knows who will be linked next?
