Okay folks the video below is not a trailer for the new Nightmare On Elm Street remake; it’s an actual clip taken from the movie!

It shows Freddy Krueger stalk his female victim in a shopping mall and in my opinion is unbelievably creepy.

Krueger doesn’t say a word the entire clip he just stalks his victim silently; mocking her occasionally with a sinister sneer.

It seems that gone are the days where Freddy would ham it up in every scene, judging from this clip alone it would appear that this new Freddy is more interested in letting his grotesque appearance do the talking; where Robert Englund would have undoubtedly delivered a lame one-liner, Jackie Earle Haley’s Freddy prefers to savour the moment and soak-in the fear.
