The Lobo movie seems to be in some serious trouble with IESB reporting that Warner Bros have lost faith in producer Akiva Goldman’s ability to make a high-concept movie. Apparently the studio is upset with the development of both The Losers and Jonah Hex, with the latter of the two having been forced to undergo extensive reshoots.

Throw in their disappointment that previously attached director; the in-form Guy Ritchie jumped ship to focus on Sherlock Holmes 2 and the Lobo movie finds itself residing deep in development hell.

Personally I can never see this movie getting made. Lobo is just way too obscure a character for Warner Bros to make a movie about…
