Consider me suspicious; gaming giant Ubisoft has announced that they will be releasing free DLC for their Xbox 360 exclusive; Splinter Cell: Conviction on a weekly basis.

Yep, you read that right; FREE!

The content will take the form of new weapons, skins and some maps and will be available through the Splinter Cell: Conviction in-game extras menu every Thursday.

Ubisoft didn’t reveal just how long they plan to support the weekly DLC but even if it’s just for a month or so it’s still a suspiciously generous offering.

Like I said; consider me suspicious…
