It sucks to be a James Bond fan right now. Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli (the go-to-guys for everything Bond) have issued a statement revealing that the 23rd James Bond movie has been postponed indefinitely…

“Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on BOND 23 indefinitely. We do not know when development will resume and do not have a date for the release of BOND 23″

No word yet as to how much of an effect this postponement will have on the franchise as it currently stands, hopefully it will be nothing but a simple blip and that Daniel Craig will return once everything is sorted but I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that when Bond does return, it will be with a new face…
