Star Trek star Leonard Nimoy has revealed that he will retire from acting after he makes his final appearance in the hit sci-fi show; Fringe.
This is what the iconic 79 year old actor had to say…
“I’ve been doing this professionally for 60 years. I love the idea of going out on a positive note. I’ve had a great, great time,”
So that obviously means that Nimoy won’t be reprising his role as Spock for JJ Abrams’ Star Trek 2 doesn’t it?
I for one am gutted we’ll never see Nimoy on our screens again, the dude had such a presence, I’ll never forget his appearance on The Simpsons in that Monorail episode.
Live long and prosper Spock. You will be missed.
