It seems that horror legend Jason Voorhees has finally been killed off after Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller confirmed that a sequel to last year’s Friday the 13th reboot will not be happening. Here’s what he said…

“It is dead. Not happening. Right now there is no movement.”

A lot of rumours suggested that we would get Friday the 13th part 2 sometime this year but it seems that for now at least, Jason Voorhees is dead.

Although being critically hammered, last year’s reboot took a respectable $40 million in its opening weekend so the news that Platinum Dunes aren’t looking at cashing in this year is somewhat surprising to say the least.

What do you guys think, is this really the end for Jason?
