Ghost Rider 2 To Go Ahead Without Nicolas Cage?
Columbia Pictures are in a pickle. They have to make a Ghost Rider sequel or they will lose the rights to the Marvel Comic’s superhero.
Apparently, Columbia have to begin production on Ghost Rider 2 by November 14th of this year because if they don’t get their asses in gear, all rights to the character will revert back to Marvel/Disney.
The problem with that is Nicolas Cage is expected to be tied up with National Treasure 3 and some other commitments which are thought to make it impossible for him to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze.
So it seems that if Ghost Rider 2 is to go into production this year then it will do so without Nicolas Cage attached.
I can’t work out if that’s a good thing or a bad thing?
