According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow character in the upcoming Iron Man 2 could get her own spinoff movie.

When asked at a recent press conference in Beverly Hills whether or not a Black Widow standalone movie is possible; Feige replied with…

“Definitely possible. Yes, absolutely.”

Now, at this moment in time we don’t know if Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow is even alive at the end of Iron Man 2 so we don’t know what direction a standalone Black Widow movie would take though my money would be on a prequel regardless of how Iron Man 2 plays out.
