It sucks to be a James Bond fan right now. Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli (the go-to-guys for everything Bond) have issued a statement revealing that the 23rd James Bond movie has been postponed indefinitely… “Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a sale of the studio, we have suspended development on BOND 23 indefinitely. 20th Century Fox Announce September Release Date For Robert Rodriguez’s Machete
Twentieth Century Fox has announced that Robert Rodriguez’s Machete will hit US cinemas on September 30th. Machete, which stars Danny Trejo as an ex-Federale who goes on a brutal rampage against his former boss, was made into a real movie after a spoof trailer, which was part of the Rodriguez/Tarantino Grind House collaboration, was well-received by fans. Pirates Of The Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides Casting Update
Disney has revealed that British actor Sam Clafin has signed up for Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. Clafin, who is a complete newcomer to acting (he’s yet to appear in anything that’s hit our screens) will play Philip; a young missionary who gets drawn into Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow hunt for the Fountain of Youth. Sam Clafin joins Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Max Irons and the recently announced Astrid Berges-Frisbey in Rob Marshall’s take on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Are Sonic Adventure And Crazy Taxi Speeding Toward XBLA?
It seems that Sega Dreamcast classics; Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are headed for the XBLA. According to a post on the Digiex forums (click here); Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are just two games taken from a list of potential upcoming XBLA releases due in the next couple of months. Did A Musician Accidently Confirm LittleBigPlanet 2?
Although Sony hasn’t announced that LittleBigPlanet 2 is in development for the PS3, we can almost certainly assume that it is now after an Electronic musician named Ochre announced via his Twitter feed that he had licensed a song entitled “Infotain Me” for LittleBigPlanet 2. Of course, Sony has yet to officially respond to the story but I expect that’s because they are planning a big announcement at this year’s E3. Personally, while I will welcome LittleBigPlanet 2 with open arms I can’t help but feel that a sequel to one of my favourite games ever is somewhat unnecessary and save for adding a brand new dimension, what could LittleBigPlanet 2 offer us that LittleBigPlanet…
