Ubisoft Deny Rumors That Splinter Cell: Conviction Is Headed For PS3

There have been more than a few rumours of late that claim Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is headed for Sony’s PS3. According to Ubisoft’s Twitter feed, those rumours have absolutely no substance to them… “Rumor control: Splinter Cell Conviction is exclusive to Xbox 360. Ridley Scott Reveals Some Alien Prequel Details

Ridley Scott has been talking about the Alien prequel that he’s currently working on and in particular how the movie ties in with the original Alien… “It’s set in 2085, about 30 years before Sigourney Weaver’s character Ellen Ripley. Ghost Rider 2 To Go Ahead Without Nicolas Cage?

Columbia Pictures are in a pickle. They have to make a Ghost Rider sequel or they will lose the rights to the Marvel Comic’s superhero. Apparently, Columbia have to begin production on Ghost Rider 2 by November 14th of this year because if they don’t get their asses in gear, all rights to the character will revert back to Marvel/Disney. The problem with that is Nicolas Cage is expected to be tied up with National Treasure 3 and some other commitments which are thought to make it impossible for him to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze. It seems that gaming giant Activision are planning on resurrecting the Goldeneye video game franchise after they were spotted registering the domain name goldeneyegame.com.
