Jake Gyllenhaal Admits He Used To Play The Original Prince Of Persia Video Game

“I used to play the side-scrolling version of The Prince of Persia on the first Mac computer in elementary school,”
He also revealed that he is constantly amazed that he is portraying the Prince and would love to be able to go back in time and tell his younger-self that one day, in the future, he would play the iconic video game character in a Hollywood movie…
“I wish I could go back and tell that eight-year-old kid who was playing the game that, one day, twentysome odd years later, he would be playing the lead in a Jerry Bruckheimer blockbuster movie based on that video game, and just see how his eyes would pop out of his head and how excited he would be,”
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is directed by Mike Newell and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina. It is released at the end of this month.
