Microsoft Exec Claims That Project Natal Will Be Released In October

According to Syed Bilal Tari; the marketing manager of the entertainment & devices division at Microsoft has revealed on a Saudi Arabian TV network that Microsoft’s upcoming Project Natal motion camera add-on for the Xbox 360 will launch worldwide in October.

Although Tari didn’t elaborate with specific dates he did say that Microsoft would finalize the release date after next month’s E3 where the Natal is expected to have a massive presence. This is what he said…

“We will be in the position to confirm the date after E3, which is in June, but definitely [Natal] is going to be October 2010,”

Microsoft are expected to announce the launch games for Natal at E3 next month which are expected to include…

  • Ricochet – a break-out clone where your body is used to bounce balls back at the block.
  • Paint Party – a paint sim where you can pretend to pick up buckets of paint and throw them over a virtual canvas.
  • Milo and Kate – A creepy experience where you interact with a life-like young kid called Milo.
