American Idol Movie Night brought the top 4 to pick their favorite movie song and there were some really stupid choices. Casey James performed “Mrs. Robinson” and Lee DeWyze performed “Seal’s Kiss From a Rose” and both were just not that spectacular. Simon called the performances like they could have been in a karaoke bar. There was no originality and they seemed rather boring even though Jaime Foxx tried his best to coach them. Big Michael Lynche performed Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” and this was another predictable performance. Crystal Bowersox stole the show tonight with her performance of “I’m Alright” from the movie Caddyshack and she was the most original of the night. Simon Told Crystal that this song put her “back in the game” and we agree. So our ratings for the top 4 tonight are: 1. Crystal Bowersox, 2. Michael Lynche, 3. Casey James, 4. Lee Dewyze.
