Fallout: New Vegas Will Do Better Than Fallout 3 Claims Bethesda Vice President

Pete Hines; the global Vice President of marketing for Bethesda claims that their upcoming Fallout: New Vegas will outsell the classic Fallout 3 when it’s released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 later this year.
Fallout 3, released back in 2008 sold over 600,000 copies in its first month on retail and went on to add a whole bag-full of ‘Game of the Year’ awards from numerous video game websites and publications.
Hines was talking to industry magazine MCV…
“We’ve built on the strengths of Fallout 3 and added a whole host of features and touches that further improve the experience of gamers. By taking all of that to a new setting like Vegas, which is a great fit for the Fallout brand, it gives us every reason to believe that this game can be a huge success for us. Based on what we’re seeing so far from the response at retail and from gamers, I expect New Vegas to do even better than Fallout 3. We’ll have to wait and see just how much better when the game is released.”
