3 Year Old Girl Rushed To Hospital After Copying Britain’s Got Talent Act
The Belfast Telegraph have reported that a 3 year old girl was rushed to hospital last week after copying Britain’s Got Talent’s The Regurgitator by attempting to swallow a 2p coin.
Her father revealed this his daughter; Abi Busby was taken to hospital after swallowing the coin on their way home from a family trip…
“When I arrived home I immediately rang our out of hours GP to get his opinion as we were so worried. My partner also went online to see how dangerous this was. We were then advised to take her to accident and emergency at the Ulster Hospital immediately.”
It was at the hospital where young Abi revealed her inspiration for swallowing the coin…
“As the doctor was checking Abi he asked her why she had swallowed the coin. She told him ‘the magic man on TV with the yellow coat told me to do it’. I knew immediately she was talking about Stevie Starr as she loves to watch the show because of the dancing and all the other funny acts.”
Abi was given the all-clear after her hospital visit as it is expected that the coin will leave her body once “nature has taken its course”.
Stevie Starr wowed the crowd during his audition for Britain’s Got Talent by swallowing billiard balls and coins and then regurgitating them.
A spokesperson for Britain’s Got Talent issued the following statement in response to the incident…
“A clear warning was given to the viewers before Stevie Starr’s act – ‘What Stevie is about to do is extremely dangerous and should not be attempted at home. If you do, it may cause serious injury or even death’.”
