Activision has announced that the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on June 3rd and come with five new multiplayer maps.

Called the Resurgence pack it will debut on Xbox Live on Thursday the 3rd of June.

Activision have yet to announce how much the Resurgence pack will cost or whether or not the new multiplayer maps will be brand new or rehashes of previous Modern Warfare maps.

The previous DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was called; The Stimulus Package and took an incredible £25 million in its first week of being on sale. If the Stimulus Package is anything to go by then it would be fair to assume that the multiplayer maps that make up the Resurgence pack will consist of both new and old maps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles.
