Paul Dano, who played that creepy preacher/prophet guy from There Will Be Blood has signed up for Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau’s upcoming comic book adaptation Cowboys & Aliens.

The cast for Cowboys & Aliens seems to be growing stronger every day. Originally Iron Man; Robert Downey Jr was expected to play the lead but had to rule himself out due to other commitments. Then James Bond: Daniel Craig stepped in to replace him and was followed closely by Indiana Jones; Harrison Ford.

The plot for Cowboys & Aliens is pretty exciting; Aliens invade Earth during the time of the Wild West when men were men and horses were cars.

Cowboys & Aliens is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Clancy Brown, Heavy D and Paul Dano.

It is expected that Cowboys & Aliens will hit cinemas on 29th, July 2011.
