Jack Bauer Admits He Watches Coronation Street And That He Cried When 24 Ended
24 star Kiefer Sutherland has been talking to Radio Times about how he cried when he filmed the final episode of his long-running Emmy award-winning show 24…
“It was a scene in the finale… well, Jack cried. I made a speech to the crew at the end and although I didn’t cry, I did hit a point where I couldn’t speak any more – I felt the wind knocked out of me so bad and my lip went and I had to try very hard to keep it together. That was the most emotional moment I’ve had in a long time.”
Surprisingly Kiefer Sutherland was born in the UK before spending his life in the US. The actor, still talking to the Radio Times; then talked about his favourite UK TV shows…
“When I was a kid there was always Coronation Street and more recently The Office. I love it but find it very difficult to watch – especially when I see myself in David Brent and think, ‘I’ve done that’. I also watch BBC news because the American news is so s***.”
