Avatar’s Stephen Lang Talks Conan Reboot
Avatar star Stephen Lang, and the villain in the upcoming Conan reboot has been talking about his director’ Marcus Nispel’s in-production remake of the classic comic book superhero; Conan.
Up first Lang, who plays Khalar Singh commented on how close the movie is to the original comic books…
“I think we’re right in the spirit of Howard. It’s got the same kind of lurid quality. The purple prose of Robert E. Howard is really being translated to the screen.”
The he talked about what filming the fight scenes with Jason Momoa (he plays Conan) are like…
“He’s a big dude. It’s hard for me to out-muscle him. He’s 28 years younger than me and 30 pounds heavier than me. I have to do it with my wolf-like brain. I have to use all my old man strength.”
Directed by Marcus Nispel(Friday 13th), Conan stars Jason Momoa, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman and Rachel Nichols and hits cinemas next year.
