Bronson and the Pusher trilogy director Nicolas Winding Refn has revealed that he would like to direct the long-rumoured Wonder Woman movie…

“I want to make Wonder Woman. They haven’t asked me yet, but I really want to do it.”

The proposed Wonder Woman movie has been talked about for years and years and in various times in the past nearly every female lead has been linked to the role from Angelina Jolie to Megan Fox. (I seem to remember Sandra Bullock?).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer series creator Joss Whedon had always been the one constant in the Wonder Woman rumour mill but he left the project back in 2007 after having “creative differences” with Warner’s.

With the superhero momentum gathering pace over at Warner Bros there surely must be some sort of announcement regarding the movie adaptation of Wonder Woman in the not too distant future?

Perhaps they’re waiting to see how Green Lantern does before committing to Wonder Woman?
