Eddie Murphy Itching To Get Raw On Us Again
Eddie Murphy has revealed that he’s thinking about going back to his stand-up roots after admitting that he’s getting an itch to go back in front of an audience and perform comedy.
Back in the day, Murphy was arguably one of the best stand-up comedians in the world and the videos of his shows’ Delirious and Raw, filmed back in 83 and 87 respectively are genuine comedy classics.
Here’s what Murphy had to say…
“Within the last six months or so, I started getting an itch to do it again. I started writing stuff… I was like, ‘I could go and do 15, 20 minutes right now. Maybe in a couple of months I’ll start working out again. But it’ll take a year before I’m ready to go on the road… It’s gonna take at least a year to get the rust off; 20 years of rust.”
The only concern I have is will Murphy tone down his show now that he’s more known for his family humour?
Hopefully not.

The itch probably started about the same time the nutty prof 3 script fell into his lap, poor bloke. I hope he gets back to form tho because he was class and he’s abit older and wiser now so i’d love to hear what he thinks about a black prez or women and the dating game now days, here’s hoping.
