Thanks to GamesRadar, we have some new details to mull over for the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive; Gears of War 3.

So, where to begin? (I’m going to go all bullet-point on you from here on in)

• Right, up first Flying Kick Takedowns. Pretty self-explanatory I think…
• The story will take place 18 months after the events of Gears of War 2.
• The campaign will begin on a huge aircraft hanger called Raven’s Nest which is populated with the worst that humanity has to offer.
• It will be on the Raven’s Nest where Marcus Fenix and Dom will first encounter the new enemy; The Lambent.
• The campaign will feature four-player co-op. (But we already knew that…)
• A brand new double-barrelled shotgun called the Gnasher will make an appearance as will a bayonet rifle called the Pendulum AirLancer.
• And finally there’s a new suit of armour called the Silverback exo-skeleton which houses a mounted mini-gun AND a rocket launcher. Cool or what?

Gears of War 3 hits the Xbox 360 on April 8th 2011.
