Ratchet And Clank Developer To Make Games For The Xbox 360
Ratchet And Clank developers Insomniac have today announced that they are to make multiplatform video games in conjunction with EA.
Insomniac have previously only made games for Sony consoles but if you think we’re going to be getting Ratchet and Clank anytime soon on the Xbox 360 then you can think again as the first multiplatform title developed by Insomniac will be a brand new IP.
Insomniac Founder and CEO Ted Price was speaking to IGN…
“We definitely take a measured approach to what we do at Insomniac. We’ve never made overnight decisions about things and we’ve been thinking about going multiplatform for a while and planning it, and we’re now at the point where we can do that, as well as continue our relationship with Sony that we’ve maintained for the last 14 years.”
Fans of the PS3 exclusive Ratchet and Clank and the Resistance series shouldn’t worry about the two properties as Insomniac promised that…
“[We’re] just as dedicated to Ratchet and Clank and Resistance as [we] ever [have] been.”
