Alice Is In Wonderland – Tim Burton’s Movie Is About To Pass The One Billion Dollar Mark
Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is about to race past the 1 billion dollar mark at the worldwide box office.
Once Alice has passed the 1 billion dollar barrier it will become the sixth biggest movie of all time and will also be the second movie that star Johnny Depp has in the top six having starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.
Some experts are pointing to the inflated ticket prices of the 3D screens as being the reason why Alice in Wonderland is performing so well but whatever the reason; passing the 1 billion mark for a movie released in Q1 is still pretty impressive.
The Tim Burton-directed and Disney produced; Alice in Wonderland is due to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 1st which is only three months after it debuted in cinemas.
