The other day Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was being tipped to replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3 well, now it seems that the model has actually won the part.

According to Deadline, Huntington-Whiteley has been offered the part after impressing the producers of the movie.

Huntington-Whiteley, who is the current girlfriend of British action star and super-tough guy; Jason Statham, will take over from the recently dumped/quit Megan Fox and is expected to play the new love interest for Shia LaBeouf’s Sam.

Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 went into production earlier this month in Los Angeles ahead of its July 1st release next year.

Though Transformers 3 will be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s first proper acting gig, she has worked with director Michael Bay before on some adverts for Victoria’s Secret.

She will join Shia LaBeouf, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Frances McDormand and John Turturro in the Michael Bay directed Transformers 3.
