Men In Black Star Tommy Lee Jones Signs Up For Captain America
Men In Black star Tommy Lee Jones has signed on to star in Marvel Studio’s upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger.
According to the rumour-mill, Tommy Lee Jones will play General Chester Phillips, the guy in charge of the super soldier program which turned the sickly Steve Rogers, played by Fantastic Four star Chris Evans into Captain America.
As well as Tommy Lee Jones, Captain America: The First Avenger, directed by Joe Johnston, stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving (perfectly cast as Red Skull), Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L Jackson and Dominic Cooper.
Captain America: The First Avengers is released in cinemas on July 22nd, 2011.
Tommy Lee Jones’s latest film sees him star alongside Kevin Costner, Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper and Craig T Nelson in John Wells’ The Company Men; a drama about how corporate downsizing affects three individuals, their families and their community over a period of twelve months.
