Apple Now The Most Valuable Technology Company In The World
Apple are now the most valuable technology company in the world.
According to the BBC, changes in share prices have propelled Apple to the top of the technological food chain leaping over long time king Microsoft in the process.
The last time that Apple was deemed more valuable than Microsoft was back in 1989 but Microsoft aren’t worrying. Their number one; Steve Ballmer responded to the news of Apple being more valuable by saying…
“It’s a long game. We have good competitors… we too are a very good competitor.”
What is it about Apple that makes people treat them differently from companies like Microsoft?
How come Microsoft get the whole “big bad corporation” attitude from the public while Apple get to bask in the “everyone’s best friend” category?
Though I’m a fine one to talk, I own way too many Apple products and will no doubt own an Ipad by the month’s end…
