Square Enix has revealed that it plans to release a brand new Final Fantasy adventure on the Nintendo DS called Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.

Square Enix has promised that Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light will be a brand new adventure in the mega-selling Final Fantasy series and will feature..

“beautiful picture book visuals and an easy to control battle system.”

According to the publisher the game will support up to four players and utilise a turn-based battle system which will be controlled by the Nintendo DS’s stylus and touchscreen.

A new job change mechanic will also be introduced which will allow users to be able to switch their character’s class by simply changing the hat that they’re wearing. There will be over 20 jobs available in the game.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light will be released on the Nintendo DS in the Autumn.
