Treyarch Believe That Call Of Duty: Black Ops Will Be Bigger Than Modern Warfare 2
Treyarch, the developer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops has always been seen as the ugly ducklings of the Call of Duty franchise.
Where series creators’ Infinity Ward got to play around with bigger budgets and more modern settings, Treyarch; it seemed, were always left with the dregs. Where IW went modern, Treyarch went backwards.
Well, now that Infinity Ward are no longer the force they used to be after nearly everyone jumped ship to EA, Treyarch has found itself in a very good position to finally step out of IW’s considerable shadow and finally get the respect they deserve.
And that’s exactly what they plan to do with Call of Duty: Black Ops.
A spokesperson for the Activision-owned Treyarch; Josh Olin claims that Call of Duty: Black Ops could be even bigger than last year’s record breaking effort from Infinity Ward; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2…
“Modern Warfare 2 is an extremely successful entertainment launch, record selling, which is absolutely phenomenal. Every Call of Duty game has ratcheted the bar up for the next one, and we’re just ratcheting up the bar one step further. I think Black Ops is going to exceed expectations. This game is going to be huge.”

“We’re always trying to make the best game we can possibly make, and with Black Ops it really is the best work we’ve ever done.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops is released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 12th.

I don’t want zombies in black ops, I would rather treyarch concentrate on more multiplayer maps etc… nazi zombies in world at war just got boring and repetitive, all you’re chasing is a high score – big deal. Comments please, Peter.
dude multiplayer is boring as hell all you do is killed your friend online and run around like a idiot. Why you dont like zombies. I wont be the same as WaW. And plus we have better guns now. Like Ak47,M16,AUG streyer and sub machine guns. And yeah high score are big deal once a a while.
