Bryan Singer’s Jack The Giant Killer Start Date Pushed Back To Next Year
Heat Vision is reporting that filming on Bryan Singer’s Jack the Giant Killer has been pushed back to February next year after it was originally scheduled to begin production this summer over in the UK.
The reason for the push-back is thought to be because director Singer wants to spend more time on prepping the visual effects that the movie warrants. The technology he is looking to use is quite special; it allows him to see the CGI giants’ in-camera as the actors play opposite them.
Apparently, before the push-back Singer had been talking with Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson but as of yet nothing official has been announced with regards to who will play Jack.
It is thought to be due to Jack the Giant killer that Bryan Singer isn’t able to direct the upcoming X-Men reboot; X-Men: First Class which will now be directed by Matthew Vaughn though Singer is still onboard the reboot as a producer.
