Different Strokes Star Gary Coleman Dies Of Brain Haemorrhage
Former TV actor and star of the hit late 70s/early 80s comedy Different Strokes; Gary Coleman has passed away at a Utah hospital.
Coleman, 42, was taken to hospital on Wednesday after suffering a brain haemorrhage. On Thursday, Coleman was said to be both “conscious and lucid” before his condition took a turn for the worse.
It is thought that Coleman’s wife Shannon, 26, turned off the actor’s life-support after doctors told her that he would be unlikely to regain consciousness.
Back in the early 80’s; Coleman was briefly one of the best paid actors in TV playing Arnold Jackson; the black orphan who along with his older brother Willis was adopted by a wealthy white socialite. Coleman’s catchphrase “Whatcha Talking ‘Bout?” was unbelievably popular. Coleman was 10 years old when he was cast in the show.
Unfortunately for Coleman, he lost almost all of the 18 million dollars he earned at the height of his success in legal battle with his parents.
