The Flash could be speeding towards the silver screen if the latest round of superhero movie rumors is to be believed. This new rumour stems from a Warner Bros. presentation to investors on Thursday which was attended by Heat Vision Blog.

They claim that an exec claimed that movement was about to begin on getting The Flash into production.

At this moment in time the project doesn’t have any substance to it. There are no directors attached, no writers and definitely no rumours concerning the cast but, the fact that The Flash was brought up at an investors meeting suggests to me that the project is all but guaranteed a green-light in the not too distant future.

So, let’s assume that The Flash will be announced shortly and get the ball rolling with who we think should direct and star.

For director I’d like to see Wanted helmer Timur Bekmambetov take a bash at it, while I wouldn’t be too upset if Casey Affleck landed the role of The Flash.
