Reboot Alert! TV Show Alias?
According to eonline.com’s Kristin Dos Santos, TV powerhouse JJ Abrams is in talks with ABC to reboot his spy drama Alias.
Apparently ABC are looking to keep hold of some of the Lost audience by entering into a project with Abrams and rather than a brand new TV show, it looks like an Alias reboot is the preferred option.
Kristin Dos Santos’ ABC insider source claims that the new series would retain some elements of the previous show but totally remove the Rambaldi prophecy (which was the best part IMO).
If the reboot gets picked up, it will be the second spy TV show that Abrams has in production with NBC producing his Undercovers.
It seems that Spies are the in-thing right now (obviously as well as Vampires of course!) with Burn Notice and Chuck on our screens right now as well as the aforementioned Undercovers and CW’s Nikita on the horizon.
